C-Span will be bringing its Civics Bus, a 45-foot, state-of-the-art mobile production studio, to the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library on Friday, July 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. C-Span’s Civics Bus travels the nation bringing the world of public affairs to life for students. Working with cable television partners across the nation, the bus has visited students, teachers, and citizens in all 50 states to discuss media, public affairs, and C-Span’s programming and free educational resources. The C-Span crew plans to interview local library patrons about their summer reading choices. They will also be interviewing at least one local author about his or her work.
