The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Shore Health System is offering Carbohydrate Counting, a class for people with diabetes who want to learn more about carbohydrates in food and how those foods affect their blood glucose.
The next class will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 10:00 am to noon, at The Memorial Hospital at Easton. This session is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required. Participants will learn how to use carb counting to create a meal plan.
The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Shore Health System is part of the University of Maryland Medical System Joslin Affiliate Program and is the only diabetes specialty clinic on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate located at Memorial Hospital offers a multidisciplinary program focused on patient education.
