The Trappe Police Department charged John Joseph Marra, 22, of 29350 Maple Avenue, Apt. 4, Trappe, on Saturday, February 27th for detaining a child under 16 years of age within the State.  The charge was the result of Marra failing to return the child to the lawful custodian within 48 hours.  The child was to have been returned to the lawful custodian in Allegany County on January 2, 2010, which Marra failed to do.  The child was returned to the lawful custodian on February 27th, when Marra was served the Allegany County District Court Criminal Summons in Trappe.
