Festival co-chairs Mary Lou Macdonald and Claudia Knox recently announced the 2010 Festival of Trees kick-off designed in high silver fashion – silver tree, silver holiday décor, and a special visit from Santa arriving stylishly clad in his sparkling silver summer apparel.  “We invite our festival friends and sponsors to join us as we set the stage for “A Celebration – Remembering Twenty-Five Years”, said Mary Lou Macdonald.

The Christmas in July celebration is slated for July 27th from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Lanham Hall Design located at 12 North Washington, Street (410-822-5040). In the true spirit of the Festival, Owners Nina Ayres Lanham and Lisa Lanham Hall will toast the Festival’s 25th Silver Anniversary and graciously contribute 20% of the evening’s merchandise proceeds.  Lanham Hall Design offers a spectacular array of furniture including antiques, lamps, art, and home décor and gifts with a great selection of costume jewelry, jackets and scarves.

Just next door, the Christmas in July celebration continues at Martini’s Restaurant (14 N Washington Street) where attendees can enjoy a delectable dinner. Owners Chef Ron Brown and Michelle Gannon are donating a portion of the evening’s dining fare to the Festival of Trees.
