The sheriff’s office is investigating the death of a 5-month-old boy. Marcus Lavon Wicks, who lived part-time in Millington with his father and grandparents, was pronounced dead at Chester River Hospital Center, according to Sheriff John F. Price. The infant’s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. Cpl. Dennis Hickman, the lead investigator, attended the autopsy. The results of the autopsy were not immediately available. Price said the preliminary investigation suggests the infant’s death was accidental.
