Community Invited to Shore Medical Pavilion Dedication

17th July 2012 | Posted in Health

On Thursday, July 19, Shore Health System and the University of Maryland Medical System will dedicate Shore Medical Pavilion, located at 125 Shoreway Drive off of Nesbit Road and US Rt. 50 in Queenstown. The dedication ceremony begins at 5pm and the public is welcome to attend and to stay for refreshments and tours, which will be available until 7pm.

Located next to the Queen Anne’s Emergency Center, Shore Medical Pavilion is home to Maryland Primary Care Physicians, which relocated from Stevensville to this more convenient location off of the Nesbit Road exit of US Rt. 50. Other services available in the three-story medical pavilion include diagnostic and laboratory testing, physical and speech therapy, occupational health services, several physician specialty practices including urology, cardiology, neurology and sleep medicine, otolaryngology (ENT) as well as a four-bed sleep lab.

“The Shore Medical Pavilion adds primary and specialty medical services to Shore Health System’s Queen Anne’s County campus, where the Queen Anne’s Emergency Center opened in October of 2010,” says Michael Silgen, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Shore Health System. “This medical facility is an opportunity for the University of Maryland Medical System to become the healthcare provider of choice for Queen Anne’s County and expands the array of medical services that Shore Health System offers in the Mid-Shore region.”
