Sue Corrigan-Yo has worked in the art and design field for more than 22 years. She has devoted 20 years of that time to part-time teaching, both A level students (16 – 18 year olds) and adult classes in the UK. At the same time, Ms. Corrigan-Yo developed her own work and exhibited in galleries in within Great Britain. Since coming to this country in 2009, she has engaged with the artist community, teaching classes for AACC and is the current Vice President of the Annapolis Watercolor Club. She exhibited her work at several joint exhibitions in the local area and is working towards a solo exhibition in Annapolis. She has traveled extensively in Europe, the Far East and enjoys painting the environments, birds and flowers of exotic cultures visited during her travels. Sue says of her philosophy, “A piece of music or a painting is an expression of its creator, an outer manifestation of their inner experience. Therefore, every painting is as individual . . . and beautiful in its own way”.
