Get in the voting spirit with Rommel’s Ace Hardware’s annual fall window painting contest! Budding student artists are vying for a $50 cash card, but can only win if they receive votes.
Sunday, paintbrushes were dipped in bright colors and art flowed across the windows of Rommel’s Ace in Stevensville as a dozen students from Matapeake Middle School displayed their talents. Now through October 31 patrons of the hardware store can vote for their favorite spooky or fun fall scene.
“This is our fifth annual fall window painting event,” said Kellie Barker, general manager at Rommel’s Ace in Thompson Creek Mall. “The day was a lot of fun and the students showed what great artists they are. The store windows look great and are getting a lot of attention.”
Votes will be counted on Oct. 31 and announced on Nov. 1.
