Maryland Science Center Visits Library

The Kent Island Branch of the Queen Anne’s County Free Library welcomes the Maryland Science Center on Thursday, November 8 at 10:30 a.m. The Traveling Science Program will present “Science Unscripted,” a 60-minute program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Maryland Science Center’s Traveling Science Program educates while stimulating interest in and enthusiasm for science. Using large-scale props, thrilling experiments, and audience participation, the Traveling Science Program makes science exciting, hands-on, and engaging.

Included will be demonstrations from life science, physical science, and chemistry. Topics include air, liquid nitrogen, human body, chemical reactions, and more.

Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Please call (410) 643-8161 to register.

All library programs are free of charge. This program is made possible by a donation from the Sinsky-Kresser-Racusin Memorial Foundation.

The library is located at 200 Library Circle in Stevensville, MD.
