Commissioners/Planning Commission who are in support of 08-25 are out of touch with the real world, they must not be watching the news or reading the papers, to know that we are in a severe recession, financing is difficult to get, people and business are struggling to stay alive and Erick Wargotz is pushing a bill that will reduce landowners Ag property values by 40%.

Special interest groups funded by people who have preserved their land, at great tax payer expense, feel justified in taking away other landowners property rights who will receive no compensation.

This is a bad bill at a bad time. Farmers and land owners need to keep property values intact.

This bill needs to be withdrawn, 15% development potential for Ag land is close to nothing, with proper design and build standards to include screening with landscaping, Ag land can be developed in a way that can enhance the livability of our beautiful county and creating a more prosperous community environment.

The Commissioners/Planning Commission propose cramming new development in the smaller towns, on postage stamp lots or in town houses. Is this smart growth?
Government needs to listen to the people that elected them, and not special interest groups.
If government wants to take landowners property rights they should pay market price for them.

I say jeer to the Commissioners who support this bill!
