Kent Island Jewelry Store Theft / Suspect

On 07/02/2009 at around 1030 hours Mr. Slacum 3rd came into the Kent Island Jewelry Store to look at Jewelry. The staff waited on Mr. Slacum 3rd who picked out several rings that he liked and indicated he was making a purchase. While the clerk assisted Mr. Slacum 3rd he had several rings in his hands looking at them and he fled the store on foot and ran to a 2009 Toyota Corolla, 4dr, red in color, with a possible Maryland Temp Tag 42219J. The tag was covered at the time but the vehicle is believed to have been stolen in Easton, Maryland on 06/27/2009. Slacum 3rd fled the area in an unknown direction and may have been seen heading across the Bay Bridge towards Anne Arundel County.
The clerk was able to identify Mr. Slacum 3rd by a photograph and Detective Murphy obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Slacum 3rd for the following charges: Theft Over $500 & Burglary 4th Degree / Theft.
