A week after an Easton man was arrested for allegedly twice fracturing his girlfriend's 1-year-old daughter's skull and placing her hand on a hot stove, the mother also was charged with several child abuse counts. Easton police served Carrie Ann Yeager, 29, of 24805 Beauchamp Branch Road, Denton, with a criminal summons charging her with two counts of accessory after the fact to first-degree child abuse, two counts of accessory after the fact to second-degree child abuse and two counts of reckless endangerment. Yeager was released on her signature. The charges stem from Yeager's alleged failure to act after her year-old daughter, Brianna Juliana Chaney, was twice severely injured over the summer. The child has since received medical attention and was removed from Yeager's custody, according to Easton police.
