The ladies of the Queen Anne’s County Mental Health Committee cordially invite the public to attend their bi-annual fundraising event “Sunset on the Corsica” to be held on Saturday, July 16 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Sanger in Centreville. The night includes cocktails and a silent auction followed by an Eastern Shore themed dinner and live auction. The Queen Anne’s County Mental Health Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers organized in the 1970’s by Mrs. Orsen Nielsen to assist the mentally ill in their plight to find and afford necessary treatment. The women of the committee organize, provide, and prepare the menu for the evening.

The committee is selling 200 chances to win a week’s vacation in a beautiful villa overlooking Crab Cay in George Town, Great Exuma, Bahamas. Each chance is $100. The lucky winner will also receive $1000 cash for their travel pleasure. Raffle tickets are available now and will be sold that night if not sold out. The winning entry will be drawn at the event.
