“Water, Water Everywhere” with Wendy and Flumpa

The Queen Anne’s County Free Library presents “Water, Water Everywhere” with Wendy and Flumpa on Wednesday, July 21 at the Kent Island Branch Library at 10:30 a.m. and at the Centreville Library at 2:30 p.m.

This lively, interactive family adventure for children from ages 2-12 combines engaging music, energetic physical movement, and colorful sets with science “fun facts” and the wonders of biological, earth, and physical sciences.

Featuring the six-foot-six, blue-eyed tree frog Flumpa and his irrepressible creator Wendy Whitten, “The Singing Scientist,” the show engages youngsters’ natural curiosity and stimulates their vivid imaginations while inspiring them to learn more about science through what they have seen and heard.

Flumpa has entertained more than three million fans nationwide since 1995, performing over 4000 shows at science and children’s museums, zoos, aquariums, festivals, schools, libraries, parks, and shopping malls.

The event is free of charge, and no registration is required.
