“A man told police his 13-year-old daughter was approached by a middle-aged man who offered her a ride and food. The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office said the girl was walking on Church Hill Road near Princess Anne Drive on August 25 and was approached by a man in a pickup truck who asked her if she wanted a ride. When she declined, the man offered her some food. The girl again declined and the man drove away, headed south on Route 213 toward state Route 544. At no time did the man get out of his truck or try to harm the girl. The driver was described as a white man, possibly age 40 to 50, with long brown hair and a beard.
