16th Annual Oxford Day

Visit www.oxfordday.org for a complete schedule of activities

This year’s Oxford Day participants will be asked to add an environmentally friendly element to their floats, displays, and events to show that as a community Oxford is committed to making a difference in our world today and tomorrow. The Oxford Day Parade, will run from 11:00 AM until noon. Please note that Morris Street will be closed to ALL traffic during this time. Please allow extra time to travel in and out of town all morning and especially during the parade. There will be bands, many floats, various cars and trucks, a bagpiper, walkers, and some new entries in the parade.

Join the Cooperative Oxford Laboratory who will be celebrating its 50th anniversary as well as opening a new education center. They will have plenty of hands-on, marine science activities and exhibits, including many fun activities for kids. Oxford Day is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of bad weather, Family Hour will be held on the covered deck at Masthead at Pier St; the Dog Show will also be held on their deck. These activities will be held at their scheduled times; only the location will change. The Army and Navy bands will be at the Oxford.
