“The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office continues to work on locating fugitives on old warrants from their files. The most recent warrant clearance was Beth Kristin Sanchez who after being convicted in 2005 of a Theft Scheme over $500. Sanchez violated her probation by leaving the area and not advising her probation agent, failing to make any restitution and other terms.
The Sheriff’s website has all of the old and out of county warrants listed with pictures of the fugitives and wanted persons are profiled every two weeks on a QAC TV cable “”Most Wanted”” show.
This generated leads from an informant who provided information to Ms. Sanchez’s location in York, Pennsylvania where she was now using the name Beth Knotts. The Sheriff’s Office contacted authorities in that area and on April 21st members of Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit located Sanchez at her residence, where she attempted to hide in a crawl space. Sanchez was placed on a $25,000 fugitive bond later that day and was able to make bail. On the next day, she arrived at the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office and turned herself in. She was released on a preset $10,000 bail that afternoon.
