Jump in the Chesapeake Bay to support programs and services for the Kent Center and the community’s adults who have developmental disabilities (such as mental retardation and autism). Costumes are encouraged. New this year is The Golden Goose Award, given to the individual or team who raised the most money. Other special prizes are awarded for the best costume, and the youngest and oldest jumper. All “Jumpers” receive an official Goose Bump Jump tee shirt, a group color photo, and admission to the pig roast in addition to a host of prizes and surprises. Transportation is provided to and from the beach¬––park at the Betterton Volunteer Fire Company.
Schedule:
• Noon–Registration on the beach
• 1:45 p.m.–Costume party and celebrity introductions
• 2 p.m.– Group photo
• 2:15 p.m. JUMP!
• Melt Down Party/Pig Roast to follow at the Betterton Volunteer Fire Company.
