“The Kent Island Elks and the Queen Anne’s County Traffic Safety Office would like to invite you and your family to enjoy this years’ Safety Day Event to be held at the Bay Bridge Airport, Sunday, November 9th, Noon until 4:00 pm. The 5th Annual Safety Day will honor our veterans with an opening ceremony at noon featuring the Natural Resources Police Color Guard presenting our colors. Throughout the day, special presentations will include Queen Anne’s Sheriff’s Office K-9 Demonstrations, Natural Resources Police Water Safety Education and much more.
Fire Trucks, Sheriff & Police cars, Ambulances, National Guard Hum-V, Fire Marshall’s Bomb Robot, Rock Hall Vol. Fire Dept. Smoke House, “”Sidne”” the DUI go-cart, helicopters, airplane, Jet Ski, State Police Seat Belt Convincer, Moon Bounces, Rock Wall, Elks Drug Awareness trailer, Coast Guard Boat, Lionel Train display, Wal-Mart “”Blind Zone”” trailer, Traffic Safety featuring our Crash Dummies along with other displays from our Local, County and State agencies providing literature explaining the many services offered throughout the county providing assistance for our families.
