The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help find a man arrested and charged in the violent attack on a skateboarder in Grasonville in October. Thomas E. Johnson Jr., also known as T.J., failed to appear in court November 24 on charges of assault, armed robbery and theft related to the October 12 attack that sent Cameron T. Jennings of Grasonville to the University of Maryland Shock-Trauma Center. Johnson was identified in a photo line up and arrested October 30 and held in the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center until his family posted a $50,000 bond.

Police describe Johnson as an African-American male, 19 years old, 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighing around 130 lbs. He has addresses in Grasonville and Glen Burnie. Johnson has additional outstanding warrants for violation of probation in previous cases involving trespassing, drugs and armed robbery. There is another warrant for failure to appear in Circuit Court on November 5 on burglary charges.

Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous. Citizens are warned not to attempt to take him into custody themselves if he is located.
