As He Turns 80, Chaplain Ready to Slow Down

Nevin Crouse, beloved pastor, hospice chaplain and friend to all who know him will celebrate his 80th birthday on May 26th, 2009. Nevin has served as chaplain for the Easton Fire Department for 27 years, pastor of The Church of the Nazarene for 20 years, and is presently the chaplain for the Talbot Hospice Foundation. He has spent 54 years serving as a minister.

Yet as he approaches his ‘Golden Years, Nevin is finally ready to slow down, and spend time with his family, friends and his lovely bride of 54 years, Dolores.

Nevin will continue on with his role as Talbot Hospice Chaplain and will serve those in the community that are currently active with the Foundation. As our area is fortunate to have many excellent resources willing to assist with the spiritual needs, Nevin will no longer be making regular hospital or nursing home visits.

Nevin is grateful to the community for their love and support over the years and is thankful for the many opportunities God has given him in service to others.

Let us all join in wishing Nevin a Happy 80th Birthday and support his decision to reduce his daily responsibilities.

Happy Birthday Nevin! With gratitude, the staff of Talbot Hospice Foundation, friends and supporters throughout the county and numerous parishioners and acquaintances.
