The Kent Island Senior Center is conveniently located at 891 Love Point Road, Stevensville, across from Kent Island High School. We are open to Seniors Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm. The center offers amenities such as an multi-purpose room where exercise classes, entertainment programs and work shops are held, the “ Old Crab Shack Gift Shop”, well stocked ceramic room, as well as Billiards, Shuffleboard, Computer Lab, Hair Salon, Card Room, and aWii game for friendly competition. Coming Soon! New Cardio Exercise Room with Weight Trainer Barbara Raflo. Join us in our pleasant and sunny dining hall where lunch and dinner are served daily
A wide selection of classes is offered in conjunction with Chesapeake College. There are monthly entertainment programs and Senior information and Assistance staff visit our center every Wednesday. Seniors, ages 60 and over who wish to lead active and interesting lives will find Kent Island Senior Center a stimulating and welcoming place. Whether you are looking for friendship, information, or great entertainment, you’ll find Kent Island Senior Center has many opportunities for seniors to stay connected with life.
As part of our September’s Celebration of National Senior Month the KENT ISLAND SENIOR CENTER will host its 1ST “HOURS OF HONOR”.
The Celebration honors more than 30 members with a Free Crab Feast on the beautiful Wye Island on September 23rd. This event is by invitation only!
The Chow Hound Cook’s are hosting a Healthy Potato and Salad Bar Luncheon on Friday September 12th. We are traveling on September 16th to Seniors Day at Harrington Slots. Another fun filled day is planned for September 18th as we travel by motor coach to Ocean City’s Sun Fest.
In Honor of National Senior month KISC announces our plan to adopt Chester Wye’s seven homes with 23 residents for Christmas. Chester Wye resident Wish Lists are available for pick up now.
