Ballroom Heats Up For Fall with Amanda Showell

Ballroom dance champion Amanda Showell begins the fall season at the Centre for the Arts in Centreville, MD with lessons in Beginning Tango and Level 2 Hustle.

Beginning Ballroom and Latin dance students will learn the basic steps, rhythms and techniques of each dance in four-week sessions. Intermediate students will advance their knowledge of each dance and further develop their dance style.

These popular classes are held on Wednesday evenings and begin on September 17 at 7pm for Beginning Tango and 8pm for Level 2 hustle. Learn the basics, how to lead or follow and some “flashy” steps while enjoying these popular dances. Register by September 10. The class cost is $50 or $45 for members of the QAC Arts Council. Lessons in Level 2 Tango, Beginning and Level 2 Cha Cha, and Waltz will be offered through December. Contact the council or visit their website www.arts4u.info for complete class listings.
