Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation’s Basketball Skills Camp develops fundamental basketball skills in athletes ages 7 to 13. Kids looking to improve their dribbling, passing, defense and shooting techniques will do so through conditioning, drills and structured competition. All athletes will be instructed from their present ability level with added emphasis on raising their overall basketball I.Q.
Participants should be able to dribble with both hands and play on a regulation size basket. Each will receive a shirt and certificate. The cost is $65. Basketball Skills Camp is held at Matapeake Elementary School, Sundays, October 18 – November 22, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. To register, download a registration form from www.PARKSnREC.org or call 410-758-0835 ext. 2518 and refer to program: 621002.
