Black Bear Sightings Continue

The infamous black bear was spotted again in Longwoods by a family who had just moved to the neighborhood. Members of the Bryan family spotted the bear in a field near their new home and immediately called authorities. Animal control says the bear is probably lost and at some point they will take it back to Western Maryland. In the meantime, they urge citizens not to feed or get near the bear and to call authorities immediately.

The black bear was spotted again, this time in Queenstown on the Whaley Farm property. Animal experts say the bear is probably lost and simply trying to find its way. If you see the bear, call animal control. Do not attempt to get near it.

The black bear that paid a visit to Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties appeared again in the back yard of a Longwoods resident. The homeowner says the bear ate part of a pumpkin on his back porch and some bird seed from a feeder.
