The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners and the members of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Smart Growth and Rural Development are seeking public input and written alternative proposals to proposed county ordinance 08-25, the Rural Preservation and Development Act.
Public comment will be limited to three minutes and will be taken at the next meeting of the group on Thursday, April 23. The meeting begins at 3:30 p.m. at the county Department of Land Use, Growth Management and Environment, 160 Coursevall Drive.
Written proposals may hand delivered on the day of the meeting, mailed prior to the meeting to the Queen Anne’s County Commissioners Office, attention: COO Gregg Todd, 107 North Liberty Street, Centreville, Md. 21617 or e-mailed to gtodd@qac.org. Proposals will be accepted until April 23.
Review of the proposals will be held at the group’s next scheduled work session.
