The state Fire Marshal’s office is investigating last week’s boat fire on Mainsail Drive in Stevensville that destroyed a $20,000 boat. Three local volunteer fire companies and Anne Arundel County responded to the fire, which took about half an hour to get under control. There is no word on cause of the fire, which was discovered by a passer-by who called 911. No one was hurt.
