Kent County authorities are looking for a suspect in last week’s bomb threat phoned into the Washington College cafeteria. Lt. Scott Metzbower of the Kent Bureau of Investigation says 911 was called about 3:30pm. Authorities found a student’s backpack in the cafeteria area, but bomb-sniffing dogs from the state Fire Marshal’s office did not detect explosives. The student who owned the backpack was interviewed and released, and the cafeteria was reopened a couple of hours later.
