A 13-year-old Cambridge boy is on home detention after being arrested for sexually assaulting a girl on May 29th near Cambridge. The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says the boy allegedly beat a 13-year old girl with a spatula, then poured fabric softener on her head and sexually assaulted her. She was treated at Dorchester and Easton Hospitals. The boy has been charged with eight counts including second degree rape and assault.
