Shore Health System’s Center for Integrative Medicine is offering “An Introduction to Spiritual Awareness” beginning Monday, January 26 through March 2. The workshop meets weekly from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the center, which is located at 607-B Dutchman’s Lane in Easton.

The workshop will be facilitated by Anne Pogue, LMT, MA, a certified massage therapist on staff at the Center for Integrative Medicine. Pogue specializes in foot reflexology and teaches hatha yoga. She has a master’s degree in pastoral and spiritual care.

“In this six- week workshop participants will learn we are not just physical beings but spiritual beings living a human experience,” Pogue says. “Upon completion of this workshop, students will have an understanding that we are not isolated, independent human beings but spiritual beings intimately connected to one another.”

Participants will learn about the connection between thoughts, feelings and the body. Pogue will discuss the four states of consciousness and lead the group in guided relaxation exercises.
