Cessna Crashes At Bay Bridge Airport

Maryland State Police say a 31-year-old instructor and a 21-year-old student pilot suffered only minor injuries when a small plane crashed during a landing last weekend at the Bay Bridge Airport in Stevensville. Police say the plane encountered crosswinds that sent it off the runway causing it to hit two embankments and flip over. The Cessna 172s Millennium Sky Hawk is owned by a pilot training school based at Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
