Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival to Benefit Hospice of Queen Anne’s

Can you think of anything more fun and enjoyable than spending a beautiful sunny day on the sandy shores of the Chesapeake Bay sipping wine? We can’t either, so plan to join us at the 2nd Annual Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival, which will be held at Terrapin Nature Park, Stevensville, on May 30 and May 31, 2009. This is the weekend following Memorial Day and it should be the perfect weather for enjoying amazing wines from all over the state of Maryland.

Attendees will have an opportunity to discover the flavor of more than 18 local Maryland wineries while enjoying music, food, and the beautiful meadow of Terrapin Nature Park that overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. Local food vendors will offer tasty food with a Chesapeake Bay flare and fine artists and crafters will showcase the best that the area has to offer. Whether you are a wine novice or experienced connoisseur, you won’t want to miss this event. Admission to the festival also includes a souvenir wine glass and wine samples from all of the participating wineries.
