Chestertown and Betterton are getting some state grant money. The Sultana Project is getting $25,000 in matching funds so this year’s Downrigging Weekend can be 3-1/2-days long. Downrigging Weekend starts October 30th and runs thru November 2nd. Betterton will receive $78,000 in matching grant money to help renovate the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
