Citizens Wanted For Commission On Aging Vacancies

The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking for interested citizens to fill three vacancies on the Queen Anne’s County Commission on Aging.

The committee’s charge is to promote the welfare and betterment of senior citizens in the county. This includes advising and providing input on programs and services for senior citizens to the county’s Department of Aging. The Commission will also provide information to the public on programs and services for senior citizens, as well as conducting special studies related to the needs of senior citizens as directed by the county commissioners.

Members will serve a term of four years. Interested citizens should send a letter of interest by October 31, 2008 to:
