Coast Guard officials say a crew from the Annapolis Coast Guard station rescued five people in a disabled 28-foot boat that was lost in pre-dawn darkness on the Chesapeake Bay. Petty Officer Ayla Kelley says the boaters were seasick, did not have a Global Positioning System device and could not see their location. The Coast Guard contacted their cell phone provider, which was able to track their signal. The boaters were not injured.
