The Maryland Municipal League announced that Mid-Shore Senator Richard Colburn has been awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his support of Maryland‘s city and town governments during the 2008 legislative session of the General Assembly. MML says Colburn has been an advocate of municipal government in the Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee and on the Senate floor. Colburn will receive his award at a meeting of the Eastern Shore Association of Municipalities later this year.
