Colonial Chevrolet-Buick Shuts Doors

Court records show that a Pennsylvania bank won a judgment against Colonial Chevrolet-Buick owners Leonard P. Fletcher and Donna L. Fletcher in excess of $4-million on March 5. Papers for an identical judgment were filed March 5 in Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court. Donna Fletcher, Colonial’s comptroller, passed away on February 24 at age 49. The judgment was followed by a March 9 emergency petition to the Queen Anne’s County court, alleging a massive fraud. According to the petition, a routine audit uncovered missing cars, plus at least 30 other vehicles that were sold without reimbursing the bank at a cost worth about $1-million.
