Easton Councilwoman Moonyene Jackson-Amis is shown on security video recordings frequently spending entire nights at the Town Hall. The (Easton) Star Democrat viewed the footage, which spanned the past seven months, after a recent public information request. Jackson-Amis is seen at numerous times parking behind the building at night, entering through the back door, and not returning to her car until the next morning. Asked previously by the newspaper about why she had been staying at the town hall, Jackson-Amis did not respond directly but sent a sharply worded e-mail to Managing Editor Barbara Sauers. During a June 2 town meeting, Jackson-Amis asked Mayor Robert Willey why the lock had been changed to the back door. Willey replied items had been moved on employees’ desks and other items had vanished.
