After being closed for two days in November for a much-needed facelift, the Dorchester General Hospital Hospitality Shop is back in business, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Shoppers will find a more spacious display of unique gift items. The holiday inventory features jewelry, handbags, scarves, candles, serving dishes and throws. For the kid in everyone, look for a collection of talking and singing plush toys posing as cats, dogs, dragons, Santa and Rudolph.

The Hospitality Shop, which is located at Dorchester General Hospital, 300 Byrn Street, in Cambridge, is operated by the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary. Shop sales benefit programs and services of the hospital. For more information, call 410-228-5511, ext. 8424.
