Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 21, 2009, the date of the 4th annual Dorchester General Hospital Snow Ball. This year’s elegant fundraiser will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge. The Dorchester General Hospital Foundation is the presenting sponsor.

The theme of Snow Ball 2009 is “The Mystique of Masquerade.” Guests may wear a mask to complement their formal attire or choose from a variety of masks that will be available at the event.

The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include fine dining and dancing to High Society, a band that appeals to guests from 12 to 82. The goal of the Snow Ball Masquerade is to raise $100,000 for the patient pre-operative preparation area and the Surgical Services nurses station at Dorchester General Hospital. The committee planning this event includes Kim Bair, Gretchen Brandon, Jennifer Brant, Kathy Effron, Rose Joyce, Mindy Malkus, Dr. Rosa Mateo, Lorrie Moran and Dr. Lois Narr.
