Deputy Walter Junior Clough Retires

It’s the end of an era for the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office with Deputy Walter Junior Clough retiring on January 30th. Junior, with 30 years of service is very well known in the county. During his career he has served as Chief Deputy, a Desk Sergeant, Civil Process Deputy and most recently Circuit Court Security.

A luncheon was held at the Sheriff’s Office which was attended by members of the Sheriff’s Office (past & present), Delegate Richard Sossi, Clerk of Circuit Court, EOC Dispatchers and family members.

Delegate Sossi presented Clough and two other recent retirees, Dennis Walls and Deward Coner with Governor’s Citations and House and Senate Resolutions for their service to the county and state.
