Gastroenterologist Michael Fisher, MD, FACG, and several members of his staff were recently recognized as Everyday Heroes. After a local couple was treated at the Digestive Health Center in Easton, they each made a donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation to show their appreciation for the exceptional care they received from Dr. Fisher and his staff. The additional honorees were Kathy Stranahan, RN, Karen Chatham, RN, Karen Davis, RN, nursing techs Ty Johnson and Theresa Green, and Sharon Ross, unit secretary.

The Memorial Hospital Foundation sponsors the Everyday Hero Program to give patients and their families an opportunity to honor a physician, staff member or volunteer by making a financial donation to the Foundation. These gifts are used to support Shore Health System in continuing its mission of delivering Exceptional Care, Every Day.
