Eastern Shore Families Feel Economic Crunch

Families everywhere are struggling to make ends meet. Churches and non-profits that distribute money and food are overwhelmed with requests for help, so much so that the Good Samaritan Fund at St. Luke’s in St. Michaels has run out of money. It helped 108 families in the first five months of this year and another 34 since May. It started the year with more than $11,000 and now has $58 left.
