“Barry Holland of Hurlock in Dorchester County was named best professional truck driver in Maryland. The UPS driver won the three-axle competition at the Maryland Truck Driving Championships, receiving the highest overall score among the eight competing categories. He is now headed to the National Truck Driving Championships in Houston to compete against nearly 400 drivers from all 50 states. Known as the “”Super Bowl of Safety,”” the event is sponsored each year by the American Trucking Association and tests drivers on driving skills and knowledge of safety.”
