Maryland State Police say that an elderly woman failed to yield the right of way in a fatal collision along westbound Route 50 at Tilghman Road. The vehicle driven by 76-year-old Margie Day was hit by an oncoming Ford and thrown into another unoccupied vehicle parked on the median. Day was taken to Peninsula Regional where she was later pronounced dead.
