Environmental Concern Summer Event

“Artifact Road Show

Learn about the history of the Delmarva Peninsula from an archeologist’s perspective. Bring your “”artifact treasures””; arrowheads, spearheads, fossils, and other unique finds – and your family! The event will include a show and tell with Darrin Lowrey, experienced archeologist, and co- teacher of a six-week field school at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Take a leisurely stroll on the shores of the San Domingo Creek, munch on the sweet treats offered for purchase by The Market House, and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature’s most important habitats – wetlands.
