The Kent Island Senior Center at 891 Love Point Road in Stevensville will be open Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. beginning October 2, 2008. Betty Hull, our very popular Line Dance Instructor for the past ten years will be our teacher. Line Dancing is popular with folks who like to dance, don’t always have a partner and who like the exercise dancing provides. If you don’t fancy dancing, try your hand at pool or shuffleboard or work out in the exercise room which is equipped with Cardio Machines.

Trish Beville, Senior Center manager said, “We want to give those folks who may work during the day an opportunity to enjoy a dance class and other facilities at the Kent Island Senior Center”. The Old Crab Shack Gift Shop will also be open, with many beautiful items for sale.

There is a $2.00 fee for line dancing class. All other activities are FREE. This is a great opportunity to get out for an hour or two of socializing on a weeknight. Meet your neighbors and some new folks too. Kent Island Senior Center will open Thursday Night Line Dancing starting Thursday October 2, 2008.
