A former Cambridge police officer who is now an officer with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is facing sex offense charges. Forty-one-year-old Naham Perry of Deal Island Road was arrested in connection with the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl. Perry resigned from the Cambridge force in 2002 and was charged with sex charges a year later with another 15-year old. That trial ended in a hung jury. Perry is out on $150,000 bond and has been placed on unpaid leave with the university.
