Express Yourself with Musician Tracey Eldridge

Imagination is the limit! In a highly interactive program, musician Tracey Eldridge will lead children ages 3-8 in a special performance as part of the “Be Creative @ Your Library” summer reading programming at the Queen Anne’s County Free Library.

Eldridge will perform on Wednesday, July 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kent Island Branch Library, 200 Library Circle, Stevensville, and at 2:30 p.m. at the Centreville Library, 121 S. Commerce St., Centreville.

Eldridge uses songs, stories, sound effects, props, instruments, creative movement, dramatic play, puppetry, riddles, and rhyming to spark imagination, inspire self-expression, and nurture self-esteem. Eldridge invites children to sing along and participate in her joyful exuberance and sometimes zany ways.

Adults, too, enjoy the variety of musical styles in Eldridge’s repertoire: rock n’ roll, blues, bluegrass, swing, folk, reggae, jazz, calypso, boogie woogie, robckabilly, Zydeco, and more!

All library clubs and activities are free of charge. “Be Creative @ Your Library” t-shirts with Sneaks the Library Cat may be purchased while supplies last beginning on June 1.
