Betterton Mayor Carolyn Sorge reportedly has invited Kent County Commissioners to a town public meeting in about three weeks to discuss the ever-growing feral cat issue. Mayor Sorge says the complaints about odor and unwanted animals in yards are getting worse and something has to be done. Commissioners have agreed to hold a first reading for changes in the county’s pet laws at an upcoming meeting.
